According to a new report, the headliner for PlayStation Plus’ free monthly games in November is Stray.
With the month coming to an end and November almost upon us, we have already started hearing reports about the next free monthly titles. October was a good month for PlayStation Plus players, with the subscription service offering games like Alan Wake 2, Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn, and more. Now, the next game that PS Plus players are getting their hands on won the 2022 Best Independent Game award.
Stray Will Arrive for PlayStation Plus on November 4
The confirmation that Stray is coming to PlayStation Plus comes from a Dealabs report. The report states that Stray will be available to download through PS Plus from November 4. The title will be available to all members—Essential, Extra, and Premium—on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Stray was previously available through the PS Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium members; however, it was removed just before it was set to release on Xbox. Details about the other two PS Plus games are not known yet.
Stray is a third-person cat adventure which is developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. Players get to embody a stray cat separated from its family and must “untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten city.” You get to explore a decaying cybercity while experiencing its seedy underbelly. The world also features several elements that you can interact with in playful ways, and it encourages the player to be “stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants.”
In other news, the PlayStation 5 has overtaken the PS3 in lifetime US sales. Additionally, a former PlayStation exec slammed live-service games, stating, “It’s a repetitive action engagement device.” What are your thoughts on Stray coming to PlayStation Plus in November?
