PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October 2024 Revealed During State of Play

PlayStation made several announcements today, including the unveiling of Ghosts of Yotei, the arrival of Palworld on PS5, and more during the State of Play event. At the same time, they announced that the new free monthly games would be arriving for PlayStation Plus members in October.

According to the blog post, players can try WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club through PlayStation Plus in October. These games will be accessible to Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe members starting October 1.

WWE 2K24

WWE 2K24 is the latest instalment in the premier wrestling simulation series. This game celebrates 40 years of Wrestlemania, and you can play as iconic superstars from the past and present across various game modes. Players also get to experience a retelling of WrestleMania’s most remarkable moments from the last 40 years and participate in wrestling’s most unforgettable and career-defining matches.

Dead Space

The next PlayStation Plus title for October is EA’s Dead Space remake. It brings back the sci-fi survival horror fun while providing a more immersive experience. You get to play as Isaac Clarke, whose mission is to repair the vast ship, USG Ishimura. However, during your duties, you realise something is horribly wrong, and it’s now up to you to uncover the mystery while surviving hostile creatures called Necromorphs.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

The last addition for PlayStation Plus in October is the psychological horror title Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!. You play as the protagonist who has joined the Literature Club to find a love interest. However, every literary creation leads to charming your crush and unravelling the horrors of school romance.

September 30 is the last day to add September’s PlayStation Plus games to your library. These include Quidditch Champions,  MLB The Show 24 and Little Nightmares II.

In other news, a film production company named ‘Stellarblade’ is suing PlayStation over ‘Stellar Blade’. Also, a new God of War Ragnarok PC mod allows players to bypass the PSN requirement. What are your thoughts on October 2024’s PlayStation Plus games?
