Guerrilla Games and Nixxes unveiled the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered edition at PlayStation’s State of Play event today. The remaster will bring upgraded visuals and performance for platforms like PS5 and PC via Epic Games and Steam.
Players had an idea about Horizon Zero Dawn receiving a remaster, as the game’s ESRB rating had leaked beforehand. Regarding the additional features, the remastered edition will bring 10 hours of re-recorded conversation mocap and graphical improvements that bring the game to the same level of visual fidelity as Horizon Forbidden West.
Horizon Zero Dawn remastered arrives on October 31, 2024; players already owning the PS4 version can upgrade for $9.99.
About Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will have the same plot players know and love. You will follow the journey of an outcast hunter named Aloy as she survives in a post-apocalyptic world. As Aloy, you need to hunt robotic creatures and animals in the wild, and you have arrows, spears, explosive traps and more at your disposal.
The title includes a vast open world, which players must explore to uncover Aloy’s past and discover her destiny. The world is filled with unique and deadly creatures, and some rival tribes will be gunning for you, too, so survival is your utmost priority.
