During the Xbox Games Showcase, the long-awaited expansion (the first and last of its kind) for Cyberpunk was revealed with an exciting trailer. It was confirmed that Phantom Liberty will be launching on the 26th of September, serving as the swansong expansion for the open-world epic from CD Projekt.
It was prefaced with a breakdown by Keanu Reeves, who explained that he’s returning for Phantom Liberty, joining an all-new cast in what looks to be an exhilarating story.
Phantom Liberty Launches September
Cyberpunk 2077 may have had a fairly tough time, but it recovered enough to be considered a top-tier title – and personally, I had hundreds of hours of fun exploring every corner of Night City.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and Phantom Liberty marks the period in Cyberpunk 2077’s story. It looks like one hell of a send-off, though:
