Pocketpair has announced that Palworld’s next collaboration is with the fast-paced, ultraviolent retro FPS, Ultrakill.
Palworld is not a stranger to crossovers, with Terraria being its latest collaboration. The Tides of Terraria update saw a total of seven new islands being added to the Palworld map, along with new equipment, Pals, dungeons, bosses, and more. It seems we will soon receive the same treatment, as Palworld x Ultrakill has been announced.
Palworld Will Receive New Gear and Weapons from Ultrakill
The Palworld x Ultrakill announcement arrived today through an official announcement on their X account (formerly Twitter). The announcement confirms that Ultrakill’s gear and weapons will be added to the game soon, allowing players to utilize them as they see fit. However, no other concrete details, such as the release date and what content will be included in this crossover, were revealed.
For those unaware, Ultrakill is a fast-paced FPS title that blends gameplay elements from classic shooters like Quake, modern shooters like Doom (2016), and character-action games like Devil May Cry. The game features a bunch of really destructive weapons, each with multiple available variations. It also features several movement abilities that help you stay always on your toes when being chased by the hordes of dead, demons, and other machines.
In other news, the Palworld developer responded to comparisons between Pokopia and Palfarm, stating they aren’t wizards who can develop a game within a week. Nintendo has acquired another character summons patent amidst the ongoing copyright infringement lawsuit. What are your thoughts on Ultrakill being Palworld’s next crossover?
