PocketPair announced the release date for the Tides of Terraria update, which introduces new Pals to tame and marks the game’s first major collab.
Tides of Terraria is the next major update for the hit title and marks a collaboration with another Pocketpair title, Terraria, and the update marks the start of a flurry of new content.
Palworld Tides of Terraria Release Date
Releasing June 25, PocketPair describes the Tides of Terraria update as “a large update that can be enjoyed by fans of Palworld and Terraria.”
Alongside the new collaboration content, the update will be followed by “further new content,” including new Pals and new islands to explore, with reveals taking place “over the next few weeks.”
An animated trailer was released alongside the announcement, featuring a character and Pals exploring a dungeon to take a glowing sword, which you can watch in full below.
In the update, players can catch, train, fight, and put monsters from Terraria to work, giving fans of Terraria plenty to enjoy, while the new Pals and islands offer something for everyone.
PocketPair’s latest update could provide a new surge for the title, which hit an all-time peak of over two million players on Steam, per SteamDB, though the peak over the course of the last month was far lower at around 40,000.
Back in December, when the Feybreak update released just before Christmas, Palworld’s concurrent players surged above the 200,000 mark for the first time in eight months, showing there is still plenty of appetite for the title.
