The next release of Nvidia RTX 50 series graphics cards could be just around the corner. A new rumor suggests that Nvidia is gearing up to release its GeForce RTX 50 Super graphics cards sometime in Q4 2025.
According to TweakTown, Nvidia is planning to release new cards in time for the upcoming holiday season.
Their report says that the company will be releasing at least three new cards for enthusiasts: the RTX 5070 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super, and the RTX 5080 Super. As far as the specs of these new cards, it’s claimed that the RTX 5070 Super will have 6400 CUDA Cores, the RTX 5070 Ti Super will have 8960, and the RTX 5080 Super will have 10752.
Other specs include 24GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit bus for the 5080 and 5070 Ti Super while the 5070 Super will have just 18GB of GDDR7 on a 192-bit bus. Last, for new specs, TGP will be 415W for the 5080 Super, 350W for the 5070 Ti Super, and 275W for the 5070 Super.
When it comes to comparison to the base 5070 Ti and 5080, the 5080 and 5070 Ti Super will have 8GB more VRAM and the same CUDA Cores. For the 5070 Super, it has 256 more CUDA cores and 6GB more VRAM. Regarding TGP, power requirements for the new cards will be an increase ranging from 25W-55W.
