In a new official post, NVIDIA announced more games that will support RTX, as well as release dates for these upgrades.
DLSS 3.5 and Full Ray Tracing are now coming to Naraka: Bladepoint, Portal with RTX, and even Diablo IV. The release date for Diablo IV’s RTX update is set for March 26th.
Initially, Naraka: Bladepoint will only support full ray tracing in three PvP and PvE areas.
NVIDIA also announced that Star Wars Outlaws will launch with DLSS 3 and ray-traced effects. Black Myth: Wukong will launch on August 20th with the latest DLSS 3.5, as well as full ray tracing.
The First Berserker: Khazan will only launch with DLSS 3, though it could potentially get a ray tracing update later on.
NVIDIA confirmed that it still plans to reveal “several new exciting integrations of cutting-edge RTX tech” at GDC 2024.
The 2024 Game Developers Conference is coming next week on March 18th. So, NVIDIA’s announcement today came as a bit of a surprise for fans.
Diablo IV released to some fairly mixed reviews from longtime fans. It currently sits at a staggering 2.2 on Metacritic, and still has “Mixed” ratings on Steam.
However, the devs continue to update Diablo IV, and the game will also roll out on Xbox Game Pass later this month. It will be available for subscribers beginning March 28th.
Star Wars Outlaws will undoubtedly benefit from RTX support at launch. Some fans are concerned the developer will retain some of its more divisive habits.
Last month, Ubisoft confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws will release in Financial Year 2025. The studio also announced a release window for late 2024. It will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
