No Ticket (Board The Tram!) Walkthrough & Solutions in Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School

Your very first level in Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is called No Ticket, requiring you to board the tram. We’re solving puzzles before we get anywhere near Escape Academy itself, and this guide has all the answers and solutions.

One of the great things about the Escape Academy games is that the puzzles are uniform for everyone. There’s no unique solution per run-through, making everything a million times harder. If the opening tutorial level is giving you grief off the bat, you should find the answers you need here for Escape Academy 2.

How to Complete No Ticket (Board The Tram) First Level in Escape Academy 2

The first level takes place in Escape Shack Station. Only the door to the train is closed; you need your ticket and have to find a way to get on the train and get it moving.

It introduces you to the game’s movement mechanics and the basics of puzzle-solving, but all it takes is one brain teaser to derail you.

Find 3 Escape Bucks

  1. Go into the telephone box and collect the first Escape Buck.
  2. Crawl into the open vent and collect Escape Buck number two.
  3. Climb the suitcases next to the telephone box to find the third Escape Buck hanging over the edge.

Reveal Escape Academy 4-Digit Number

  1. Find the machine with three dials, each containing a movable wheel and four colored lines.
  2. To know which icons are correct, go over to the Tram Stops board.
  3. You should notice the colored lines match certain stops on the overall Tram Stops table.
  4. Identify the matching patterns, which should give you the necessary icon.
  5. Wheel 1: Triangle.
  6. Wheel 2: Cog/Gear.
  7. Wheel 3: Square.
  8. Doing this reveals Escape Academy’s destination number.

Buy Your Ticket

  1. Go to the ticket machine.
  2. Look above it to see the Destination Code for Escape Academy: 9625.
  3. Interact with the ticket machine.
  4. Type 9625 into the keypad.
  5. Press the tick button.
  6. Click on the yellow slot below the keypad.
  7. Choose the Buy option to get your ticket.

Opening Train Doors

  1. We need a five-letter code.
  2. Below the lock is a series of five colored symbols, with particular markings on them.
  3. The markings can be found on the three adjustable signal points with colored lights on.
  4. For each colored icon, find the signal with the same pattern, and press on it until its color matches the one on the panel below the lock.
  5. If done correctly for all five, you get the word: Steam.
  6. Enter this into the lock, and the train doors open.
  7. Head inside and pull the lever to complete the level!
