Nintendo Indie World Showcase Announced For April 17

Nintendo has announced its next Indie World Showcase is coming on Wednesday, April 17.

In a post made on social media, the company says that the event will feature “roughly 20 minutes of announces and updates on indie games headed to Nintendo Switch in 2024”.

Nintendo last held an Indie World showcase back in November 2023, where it showed off games like Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition, Moonstone Island, Blade Chimera, Backpack Hero, and more. It usually holds these smaller showcases twice a year.

The showcase begins at 10am ET on Wednesday, and can be watched below. Insider Gaming will have full coverage of all the showcase’s announcements as they happen.

Recently, Nintendo also confirmed that it won’t be attending Gamescom 2024 after being an exhibitor at last year’s convention. The company said it came to the decision after “careful consideration”.

What do you think will be shown during the next Indie World Showcase? Will players finally get news on Hollow Knight: Silksong?
