With all the hype surrounding Summer Game Fest having passed, Nintendo decided now was the time to strike with it’s own showcase. Enter Nintendo Direct for June 2024, a showcase of 40 minutes of new games coming in the second half of 2024.
The showcase was full of surprises with a new Mario & Luigi Game, new Mario Party, a new 2D Legend of Zelda title where you play as Zelda instead of Link, and even (at long last) Metroid Prime 4. We know that 40 minutes of games is a lot to keep track of. That’s why we put together a single list of everything that was announced and shown.
Let us know in the comments what you thought of the show, and what games you are looking forward to the most.

The big questions will Metroid Prime 4 be cross gen? Will this collection lead to Marvel vs Capcom 4 or a Marvel guest in Street Fighter 6? Is Mistwalker back to making console games? Will Square Enix remake Chrono Trigger with the 2D style or 3D style? Also the Mega Man Battle Network collection did well Will Capcom bring that series back? Will Capcom bring Darkstalkers back since this is Fighting collection 2? Will Capcom do Star Force and Legends collections? Will the make a 3D Fighting collection with Power Stone and Rival Schools?
What’s the next Direct in Fall going to be about Switch 2 finally? Also I hope Fantasias does well and Mistwalker finally brings back the cancelled project Cry On. Also would love remakes of some other titles F-Zero GX, Eternal Darkness, The Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower. Would prefer DC VS Capcom happens over another Marvel or better Kodansha or Shonen Jump VS Capcom. Still waiting on the new Power Stone.
You misspelled Fairy Tail it’s spelt like that not Tale.
