In a new post on Twitter, developer Ninja Theory unveiled the PC specs for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, which still has a release date for May 21, 2024.
For the low graphics preset, the devs suggest Intel 15-8400 and AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processors. For GPU, Ninja Theory listed NVIDIA GTX 1070, AMD RX 5700, and an Intel Arc A580.
To achieve a very high performance with 4K, the devs recommended an Intel 15-12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X processor. On the GPU side, this would also require a NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD RX 7900 XTX.
Notably, Ninja Theory did not include the target FPS for any of these standards. High profile games like Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, which revealed PC specs last month, often flaunt FPS targets.
So did Horizon Forbidden West’s PC specs, and Remedy was even kind enough to lower its minimum PC requirements. As a result, some fans are concerned about Hellblade 2’s potential FPS at launch.
In early April, a report by IGN spotted a GamePro interview with Hellblade 2’s VFX director Mark Slater-Tunstill. They stated that the console versions of Hellblade 2 will be locked at 30 FPS with dynamic resolution. It’s unclear if Hellblade 2’s new PC specs imply it will run the same on that platform too.
In today’s post, Ninja Theory did add that “higher framerates or resolutions can be achieved with the use of DLSS 3, FSR 3, or XESS 1.3.” These may be necessary in order to reach a 60 FPS performance.
Hellblade 2 will be a digital-only release, with a price tag of $49.99 USD.
