One thing that could, and probably should, be expected is more on the upcoming expansions for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The DLC was announced back in February and will feature two parts that complete The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero story. Part 1: The Teal Mask is scheduled to release this fall, and has players go on a school trip to Kitakami to “unravel the mysteries behind the area’s folk tales”. Part 2: The Indigo Disk, which is scheduled for winter 2023, has the player become an exchange student and go to Blueberry Academy.
Another game in the works from the Pokemon franchise is a new Detective Pikachu title. It’s possible fans get an update on that game as well during the show as it’s scheduled to launch on October 6.
