A new look at gameplay for Tekken 8 has been revealed at this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley.
The new single-player mode is called Arcade Quest. It sees players create an avatar, head into the arcade, and compete in tournaments to become a Tekken champion.
The mode and gameplay reveal comes after it was found via data from a store update that Tekken 8 was set to launch on January 26, 2024. That date was also confirmed during Opening Night Live.
Lastly, it was confirmed that there will be 32 fighters available in the game at launch. More are expected to be added as post-release DLC and updates.
When it releases, Tekken 8 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
