It’s always lovely when a studio unveils its game’s system requirements well beforehand. More often than not, we find that developers and publishers wait until just before release, which doesn’t provide much time for anyone to prepare. Thankfully, Capcom didn’t do that, so here’s your first look at the Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements!
The Monster Hunter Wilds System Requirements
You should know a few important tidbits regarding the Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements. First and foremost, no storage space requirements are currently available for the game. Once we know how much space you’ll need on your SSD, we’ll update this guide with that information. Secondly, the team hopes to hit 30 FPS at 1080p on low graphics settings and 60 FPS at 1080p on medium graphics settings.

When Can You Play Monster Hunter Wilds?
At Sony’s State of Play in September 2024, Capcom officially unveiled the Monster Hunter Wilds release date with a brand-new announcement trailer. You can play the next iteration of the long-running monster-hunting RPG on February 28, 2025!
Depending on when you’re reading this guide, that’s a long way off. There’s still plenty of time to jump into Monster Hunter Rise or Monster Hunter World to catch up on some lore and gameplay mechanics that continue to draw crowds!
