How to Propose a Truce in MW4 DMZ
A Truce in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ can be proposed by using the Ping Wheel in the game, the same way you can point out enemy locations to teammates.
This gives the enemy Operators a decision of whether to accept being friendly and not engaging in combat, although there is nothing stopping them from breaking that agreement, as there are no repercussions for breaking a truce in the game.
Here’s the step-by-step process on how to propose a Truce to enemy Operators in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ.
- When near enemy Operators, open the Ping Wheel by holding the Up button on the D-Pad.
- Navigate to the Truce option, located at the top of the wheel.
- This will mark a Truce icon on the map, giving the enemy Operators a decision on what action to take.
How to Accept a Truce in MW4 DMZ
Accepting a Truce in Modern Warfare 4 follows a similar format to proposing one, requiring you to utilize the Ping system in the game.
Once again though, there’s nothing stopping you from turning on an enemy you agreed to a Truce with, as Modern Warfare 4 does not issue any punishments or repercussions for doing so.

- Look toward the location of the Truce marker placed by an enemy.
- Use the Up button on the D-Pad when looking at the marker to ping it, accepting the proposal.
