DMZ is one of the various game modes available in Modern Warfare 4, returning to the Call of Duty franchise as a PvPvE experience.
Modern Warfare 4‘s campaign has caught the eye, with Infinity Ward earning vast plaudits, and the hope is that, long-term, DMZ and Multiplayer assessments will be similarly popular.
If you’re getting to grips with DMZ and want to know how many players you will face off against, Insider Gaming has the details.
How Many Players in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ?

Each match of DMZ in Modern Warfare 4 has up to 60 players included, spread across squads completing their own Objectives and missions.
As a PvPvE game, the choice is yours whether to go head-to-head with enemy squads, team-up with them to potentially tackle a harder challenge, or to ignore them and carry on with your own path.
There is no way to enter a game without any enemy players, but the total number depends on matchmaking, so you might not have the maximum amount in your game.
Players spawn all over the map, though the free option to spawn on foot puts you on the outskirts of the map and pushing inward, so expect enemy movement to be the same.
How Many Players Per Squad in DMZ?
A squad in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ can have up to three players, totalling a maximum of 20 squads in any DMZ match.
Those player numbers are affected by squad size, however, so if there are several squads that have just a pair of players, the total number of players in your match will be reduced.
You can choose to fill out any spaces on your squad before searching for a match with the Squad Fill option, or to enter with the players you already have in your lobby.
As a match progresses, the number of enemy players will reduce as they are eliminated or exfil, but those that remain will likely be stronger and have better loot.
