Modern Warfare 3 Perk List Revealed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets closer by the day, and we’re just a few short weeks away from the main game being released, but there is the early-access beta to look forward to in the meantime. As we head closer to the release of the beta and game, leaks have started appearing that give us an early look at what to expect from Activision’s upcoming first-person shooter.

With Modern Warfare 3, it looks like Activision is taking a more realistic approach this year, and the perks will be tied to clothing items, particularly Gloves, Boots, and Gear. This is an interesting take compared to previous entries in the series and could also allow for more customization options outside of the character’s skin.

Here are all of the perks we know about so far in Modern Warfare 3 and what each one does.

Vests

  • Infantry Vest – Increases Tac Sprint duration
  • Engineer Vest – Spot enemy equipment, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks through walls and faster Field Upgrade recharge. Aiming down sights also highlights them for the team.
  • Gunner Vest – Deploy with max ammo and improved reload speed.
  • Demolition Vest – Resupply Lethal and Tactical equipment every 25 seconds.

Gloves

  • Quick-Grip Gloves – Increased weapon swap speed.
  • Scavenger Gloves – Resupply ammo and throwing knives from dead players.
  • Commando Gloves – Improved jumping, accuracy, and ADS time.

Boots

  • Lightweight Boots – Increases movement and swim speed. Reduces noise while swimming.
  • Climbing Boots – Increases climbing and mantling speed while reducing fall damage.
  • Stalker Boots – Increases strafe and ADS movement speed.
  • Tactical Pads – Increases slide distance and allows for full ADS while sliding.
  • Covert Sneakers – Eliminates footstep sounds.

Gear

  • EOD Padding – Reduces damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.
  • Tac Mask – Reduces effects of Tactical Equipment.
  • Mission Control – Requires one less kill per killstreak.
  • Bone Conduction – This allows you to hear quiet noises like footsteps easily.
  • L/R Detector – Lets you know when you are being aimed at from an angle you can’t see.
  • Ghost T/V Camo – Prevents you from showing up on the minimap when the enemy uses a UAV.
