MOBA Gigantic Is Returning Five Years After Being Shut Down

Gigantic Moba

Gigantic is back. After first releasing in 2017 only to be shut down a year later, Gearbox Publishing has announced the return of the MOBA with Gigantic: Rampage Edition.

Releasing on April 9, the game will be available for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox for $19.99.

For those who may not know, Gigantic is a third-person MOBA hero shooter pitting teams of five against each other. With over 20 heroes to choose from, the goal of the game is to battle the opposing team and destroy their guardian.

The new version of the game will feature two new maps — Picaro Bay and Heaven’s Ward, customizable hero loadouts, and new game modes called Rush and classic Clash.

The game did come back last October as a special limited time event. Based on the response from the event, it seems the decision was made to bring back the game in full.

Gearbox Publishing will be holding a closed beta on Steam starting February 22 that you can sign up for now.
