PlayStation has announced during its PlayStation Showcase that a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake is in development.
The announcement follows years of rumors and Insider Gaming’s report earlier this week that the game will be announced at the PlayStation Showcase. Unfortunately though, if you’re been up to date with all of the rumors on the game, you’ll still have a long time to wait until playing it.
PlayStation has so far only announced that the game is in development, with no set release date. However, it has been confirmed that the game will release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
The official YouTube video description reads:
“METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is a faithful remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. A new generation of players and loyal fans alike can experience the origin story of the famed BIG BOSS, and witness how his legend was forged in the crucible of Operation Snake Eater. METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER will be available for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam®.”
