A new trailer reveals more of the story for the forthcoming Wolverine game from Insomniac.
The game, which has showcased plenty of violent action, lets players take control of Logan in a brand-new experience from the team that crafted the critically acclaimed Spider-Man games.
The latest trailer highlights extensive interactions with Jean Grey, the X-Man known as the Phoenix. Logan and Jean have well-known chemistry, and the characters are occasionally depicted in a love triangle with Scott Summers, AKA Cyclops. Other characters in the new trailer include Sabretooth, Omega Red, and Deathstrike.

New allies and formidable adversaries emerge in the clash for mutant survival. As Wolverine, unite with Jean Grey to protect those most vulnerable. Fight alongside Team X to confront the world’s deadliest villains, including Bolivar Trask, Omega Red, and Deathstrike, and stand against oppressive forces like The Reavers and The Hand.
Marvel’s Wolverine Launches September 15
This is the second trailer released in the span of a week. On July 16, a trailer showcased the cinematics players can expect to see in the game and spotlighted Logan’s antihero nature. The game was first announced several years ago but was heavily delayed after a leak at Insomniac revealed content ahead of schedule.
Still, it’s one of the most anticipated games of the year, and unlike another anticipated game, Grand Theft Auto 6, Wolverine will be available on a physical disc. Sony’s plans to end physical game media for their consoles do not kick in until January 2028.
