Marvel Cosmic Invasion is now available for fans to try out for free, thanks to Steam.
The upcoming beat ‘em up by Dotemu and Tribute Games brings everyone’s favorite Marvel superheroes to the forefront. Done in a classic retro arcade style, the game has been highly anticipated by fans, especially due to Dotemu’s track record with Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and Streets of Rage 4. Plus, with our glowing hands-on preview and new characters announced often, it’s primed to be a hit this year. Fortunately, Steam has got you covered with a free, limited-time demo.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion Steam Demo Available Now Until October 20th
In a Steam post from the game, as well as on YouTube, it announced that a free demo of Marvel Cosmic Invasion is available on Steam. The demo will only be available until October 20th, which gives fans a good two and a half weeks to have some cosmic fun. It consists of two levels, New York and Helicarrier, and can support local and online co-op. Furthermore, nine heroes from the roster are playable. The list is available below:

- Rocket Raccoon
- Venom
- Phyla-Vell
- Spider-Man
- Storm
- Wolverine
- Nova
- Captain America
No release date is set for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, though the team says it’s coming out before the end of this year. With the multitude of releases over the next few months, the free demo may make that decision easier for you. Plus, who doesn’t want to beat up foes as Wolverine and Spider-Man?
