Marvel Cosmic Invasion Adds Two New Heroes To The Roster

Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have announced two new heroes are joining the playable roster for Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Joining the game are Ghost Rider and Black Panther.

Black Panther will be voiced by James Mathis III, who plays the role in Marvel Rivals and the Avengers Assemble animated show. Voicing Ghost Rider will be Brian Bloom, who is known for his roles as William Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein and even Captain America in The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

You can check out more details of the two new characters below courtesy of Tribute Games and Dotemu:

  • Cosmic Ghost Rider: A deadly incarnation of the Punisher who was transformed after signing a pact to avenge Earth’s devastation at the hands of Thanos. Wielding devastating chains, firearms and his spectacular Hell cycle, Cosmic Ghost Rider pulls out every stop to decimate his enemies while roaring across spaceways.
  • Black Panther: The stalwart leader of Wakanda, dashes into battle wearing King T’Challa’s vibranium-enhanced suit and sonic daggers. With peerless martial arts skills and strength, he’ll pounce on any threat or foe foolish enough to challenge him

Marvel Cosmic Invasion scheduled to launch later this year on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. If you want to know more about the game, you can check out Insider Gaming’s hands-on preview from the summer.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a new 2D side-scrolling beat ’em up that is based on the Annihilation storyline from the mid-2000s. The game’s story sees Annihilus launch an attack across the galaxy. It’s up to you—and anyone you play with—to fight your way across earth and beyond to stop the Annihilation Wave.
