When we look back at canceled video games down the years, one of the most prominent examples that features at the top of almost every list is Agent: Rockstar Games’ Cold War spy thriller, which never got deep into development. If you wondered what the main character would have looked like, a GTA 6 leak of all things might have the answer.
A soul-crushing reveal in late 2025 revealed why Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser and the team canceled Agent. Years later, it doesn’t seem like Rockstar has any interest in reviving the title. This new leak might be the closest we ever get to the game.
Agent Main Character Revealed in GTA 5 Game Files Leak
GTA Forums member XanaBax went through a GTA 5 source code leak post and determined that some of the pictures line up with previous leaks and information about Agent.
It’s claimed that the third picture discussed is the head of the character in Agent, and then the character’s full player model can be seen underneath.
Here’s what they claimed:
1st and 2nd character models are GTA 5 NPCs (s_m_m_fiboffice_01 and a_f_y_tourist_01)
4th one is TBoGT model (f_y_asianclub_01)
While the 3rd one… could actually be Agent’s protagonist since:
a) the main node in the hierarchy is called “player”b) the same model (with different textures) can be seen on some images from a former environment artist’s portfolio from 2011.
c) some parts of the model are taken from/edited versions of Niko Bellic. The head has more or less the same UV map (excluding the hairline), the boots are default Niko boots and the pants are edited Niko’s cargo pants (UVs are slightly different too) SAME UV MAPS MEANS TEXTURES CAN BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN THE MODELS.
d) the model is within “Jimmy” (the codename of Agent) folder and hasn’t appeared in any GTA game
