EA Sports has officially confirmed that Madden 26 will launch on August 14, 2025. In addition to the release date announcement, EA Sports released the first trailer for the game along with a few more details.
First things first, the game will be available three days early starting August 11 for those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game. EA Sports is also doing an MVP Bundle that combines both Madden 26 and EA Sports College Football 26. Last year’s MVP Bundle remained one of the best-selling games throughout 2024, so it should come as no surprise it is happening again.
Moving on to the reveal trailer, it was a combo trailer for both Madden 26 and College Football 26. The trailer highlight’s “The Call” that an NFL Draft hopeful receives as he looks to make the jump from college to the NFL.
Not much else comes from the trailer, but it does give the first look at the in-game visuals. It’s not much, but it does seem to tease a new score bug for the game in some fashion.
One thing worth mentioning is that the official Madden 26 website only mentions the game for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. There is no mention of the last-gen Xbox One or PlayStation 4, meaning that EA Sports has officially moved on from the decade-plus old systems.
