Only 35% of Tarkov Players Completed The Game’s Toughest Event

Battlestate Games has revealed that only 35% of those who started The Labyrinth event managed to finish the whole thing. It was one of the toughest events the Escape from Tarkov community has ever seen, being comprised of several tough tasks that were exacerbated by new bosses and a lethal new map.

During the event window, a whopping 5.4 million raids took players into The Labyrinth.

How Hard is Too Hard?

In an infographic posted on social media, Battlestate Games revealed that 65% of players who started The Labyrinth failed to complete the entire path. The event featured several tasks, some of which were as simple as opening a door, while others required players to repeatedly secure high-value items from The Labyrinth, a new and incredibly challenging map.

The Labyrinth is under Shoreline’s resort building, and it can only be accessed with an exclusive and hard-to-find keycard. Once you’re inside, you need to contend with variations of the game’s toughest bosses, enhanced enemies, and a multitude of traps and environmental hazards.

It’s easy to see how 65% of players failed to complete the full event.

Battlestate Games also revealed that the average raid time in The Labyrinth was just 14 minutes. That’s also understandable, given that The Labyrinth is a fairly small and death-ridden map with limited extracts.

Of the 5.4 million raids launched into The Labyrinth, a whopping 2.5 million ended with players being killed by Vengeful Killa or Shadow of Tagilla, the new bosses created for the event. They’re even tougher than the typical bosses that you’ll find on Interchange and Factory, respectively.

Did you manage to complete The Labyrinth event in full? Let me know in the comments or on the Insider Gaming forum.
