First Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Trailer Revealed

It’s finally here – Dragami Games has released the first official trailer for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, the highly anticipated remaster of the 2012 zombie-slashing title that James Gunn once worked on. In the inaugural trailer, we get a glimpse at the hack-and-slash-style gameplay that’s prevalent in Lollipop Chainsaw, and we’re reintroduced to Juliet, a protagonist who’ll give Stellar Blade’s Eve a run for her money in the clothing stakes.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOPing Onto PS5

On September 25, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released digitally on PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s not a full remake but a remaster, with Dragami Games tidying up the title by boosting both the resolution and the frame rate to make it all run smoothly. Originally, Lollipop Chainsaw scored quite well when it was released in 2012, and there’s no reason to doubt that RePOP will perform any differently with reviewers.

Here’s the trailer:

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is only being released digitally, and it has been promised that the game’s ‘visuals and soundtrack’ have been improved for this re-release. Dragami Games had to produce an original soundtrack for the game owing to the cost of licensing a curated playlist – but that’s the biggest difference between RePOP and the original 2012 game.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
