Latest On Fable’s Release Date

Despite being shown at the Xbox Game Showcase last weekend, it doesn’t appear that the release date for Fable is all that close.

Despite the game’s release window being confirmed for 2025, it’s not going to be in the early part of the year. According to Tom Warren of The Verge, Microsoft is aiming for a release date between October and December 2025 for Fable. That would put it during the Holiday shopping season for next year.

Insider Gaming has yet to independently verify this information regarding the Fable release. However, Tom is one of the more reliable reporters with accurate information.

Fable is a reboot of the classic franchise that made its debut on the original Xbox in 2004. The game features a brand new story with new characters to meet.

“What does it mean to be a Hero? Well, in the fairytale land of Albion, that is entirely up to you,” the game’s description reads. “With a dark threat looming, and in a world where your reputation precedes you, your choices will change Albion forever.”

When it releases, Fable will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will also be available day one on Game Pass.

  • What about customization? Can I create my own character or am I stuck with this? Can I create a male character?

  • Microsoft should have this same team bring back NightCaster just look at Hogwarts Legacy they could make that but even better that’s the franchise that needs a reboot.

  • Can Playground finally bring Blur back make Blur 2 add online to it and run DLC for it. That game would sell crazy.

  • When’s Microsoft bringing back other IP? Mech Assault, Crimson Skies, Banjo Kazooie, Conker, Kameo, Phantom Dust, Magatama, Blinx, Jet Force Gemini, Battletoads done right, Brute Force, NightCaster, Azurik, Prototype, True Crime, Kung Fu Chaos, The Evil Within, Tony Hawk Underground, Spyro, Crash done right, Blur, Jade Empire, Tao Feng, Kakuto Chojin, Viva Piñata, Fuzion Frenzy, Shadowrun, Voodoo Vince, Gun, you know all of those.
