Like a Dragon Developer Announces RGG Summit For September 2024

In a new loosely translated post on X today, Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that it will host another anticipated RGG Summit in September 2024.

Today’s post reveals that the Tokyo event will start at 19:00, or 6 AM eastern time / 3 AM pacific time.

It also encouraged fans to apply for a lottery to be invited to the event, but there will only be 50 lucky selections. The post adds that there will be “no photo opportunities or autograph signings.”

Fans can already tune in to wait for the event via YouTube Premiere, but the YouTube video description doesn’t elaborate on anything.

Instead, it broadly reiterates there will be updates about Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio itself. So, there are currently no concrete details on the potential Like a Dragon games the devs could feature in the next RGG 2024 summit.

During yesterday’s new Direct Partner Showcase, Nintendo confirmed that Yakuza Kiwami is coming to Switch on October 24, 2024. Fans can also look forward to the live action Like a Dragon: Yakuza series that Amazon announced in June 2024.

The beloved IP continues to thrive, and just last February, RGG announced that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth finally reached 1 million copies sold.

Most recently, RGG announced the new Yakuza Series Starter Pack and Like a Dragon Series Starter Pack via X last month.
