Riot Games has announced that the new Rustiest Blitzcrank skin will soon be given out to League of Legends players.
However, it will only be free to players who played at least 20 online matches of League Classic before October 21.
Riot recently confirmed that League Classic will end as a permanent mode next year, though it could return for future events.
For those who missed out on the free skin, Riot confirmed that Rustiest Blitzcrank will be in the Blue Essence Emporium for 150,000 BE.
Rusty Blitzcrank and Rustiest Blitzcrank
This is now the third Rusty Blitzcrank skin in the game, including the original, which is one of the rarest skins in the game.
Rusty Blitzcrank was released back in November 2009 for 520 RP, but was then removed a few months later as players complained it was too similar to his base skin.
That means until now, only a select few people who bought that skin 17 years ago could use it.
However, Riot then introduced Rustier Blitzcrank as a skin for both LoL and Classic for those who reached Level 30 in the Classic mode.

It appears Rustiest Blitzcrank was supposed to work in both modes too and be added to the Classic store for IP.
Now, it will instead be added to the Blue Essence Emporium, which is returning to the modern League client with LoL Patch 26.24 on December 9.
The skin will then be added to future iterations of the Blue Essence Emporium too.
All three skins are very similar to each other except that they’re progressively darker shades of gold.
