Marvel Rivals continues to go from strength to strength. It has continued to impress players since being released in December 2024, and everything from the game’s core roster to the competitive scene is growing.
Recently, dataminers uncovered five new heroes in the game’s files, which were subsequently circulated on social media by prominent leakers in the Marvel Rivals space.
Unfortunately, there are no big names on the list.
New Marvel Rivals Leak Reveals Heroes
On social media, XOXLEAK posted a breakdown of a ‘report’ from the Marvel Rivals space.
The post included a reveal that five new heroes and their ability names were added to the game’s files and inevitably uncovered by dataminers.
Here’s the spread of new heroes assumedly coming to Marvel Rivals (datamining is never a concrete thing):
- Hive (Tank)
- Armor (Tank)
- Amaranth (DPS)
- White Fox (Support)
- Forge (Support)
Fans are mostly unimpressed with the lineup, as most of those heroes are relatively unknown, even amongst die-hard Marvel fans.
Hive is a monstrous creature made by HYDRA, while Armor is a Japanese mutant with psionic powers that shroud her in an indomitable shield. Amaranth utilises magic and was trained by Scarlet Witch, and her character only surfaced in earnest in 2024.
White Fox is a Korean shapeshifter with supernatural abilities, and Forge is a brilliant inventor and engineer whose intelligence knows no bounds.
That’s the most basic rundown possible of these characters.
XOXLEAK’s post on social media also revealed future team-ups, some upcoming store content, and other tweaks coming to the game. It’s important to stress (as XOXLEAKs did) that most of this information comes from dataminers, and it’s subject to change or never see the light of day at all.
