Whether you’re checking out the Kortz Center Heist for the first time in GTA Online, or you’ve already smashed it, but want to know some of the finer details, this guide answers the key questions as we possibly bid farewell to new heists in GTA Online.
Rockstar Games launched the Kortz Center Heist on July 14, 2026—a significant date if it does end up being the final major update, as expected.
The update added new content, including a new heist, which I can already tell you will divide the community. Regardless, check out the main bits about the job.
How Much Does the Kortz Center Heist Payout in GTA Online?
Findings show that the Kortz Center Heist can pay around $2 million if you do it right, but subsequent completions of the heist will see the score drastically drop to around $300-400K, although getting the week’s targeted art will increase this slightly.
As always, the big incentive is completing the new heist for the first time. However, there are a few things to unpack here.

You can see here, thanks to @Krezzingbutpriv, that the first heist will net around 2 million, and others have reported something similar, with other people claiming upwards of 2.5 million to 3 million.
What is certain is that the reward after will go way down once you’ve completed it once.
One of the biggest things players have noticed is that you can’t pick and choose crew cuts for the heist. It’s unclear if this is a bug or a conscious decision by Rockstar.
Great news, if you’re the host! Bad news if you want people to assist you, as there’s virtually no reason to help—other than friends being compensated with a measley $100K for their efforts.
Can You Play the Kortz Center Heist Solo in GTA Online?
Yes, you can play the Kortz Center Heist solo, although it will obviously be a lot more difficult.
The crew cut omission means you don’t have the usual hustle and bustle of negotiating fees with everyone, so you might end up having to do this solo after all.

Rockstar has said that ‘rolling solo will prevent you from stealing more valuable Secondary Targets.’
Not too much change there, so your reward all depends on what you’re willing to risk.
You can also replay the heist for $100,000 once you’ve done it, too, with an added layer of challenge.
How Much Does it Cost to do Kortz Center Heist in GTA Online?
Just setting up the Kortz Center Heist requires a minimum of approximately $16 million, depending on which property you already own and which discounts you have.
Firstly, you need both a Mansion and the Art Studio before you can plan the heist.
For example, ‘The Tongva Estate’ is $11,500,000, and the Art Studio is $4,700,000.

However, if you have GTA+, you can get a $1 million discount off the Art Studio add-on, and a $2 milllion discount off Mansion Properties.
These discounts will be limited until August 12, and could have expired by the time you read this.
