Knights Of Doom Confirmed For Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls During State Of Play

Knights Of Doom have officially been revealed as the latest team of playable characters in the upcoming fighting game, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. They were announced during the June 2026 Sony State of Play, alongside a brand new trailer.

The game is still slated for an August 6, 2026, release date, with more character reveals still due in the coming weeks to fill out the entire 20-man roster, split into five teams of four.

More Details On New Additions To Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls

Forming the Knights of Doom includes Magneto, Green Goblin, and Carnage. Fans were speculating the Carnage reveal from prior teasers, but Magneto and Green Goblin came as huge surprises.

The plot revolves around these titular Marvel characters duking it out in order to save their worlds from The Champion, an Elder of the Universe who’s hellbent on pitting worthy challengers against one another. Should they fail? Then he’ll destroy their entire world, leaving Earth in the balance of those who swear to protect it.

Four teams have now been completed, which include:

  • Fighting Avengers
  • Amazing Guardians
  • Unbreakable X-Men
  • Knights of Doom

That leaves one more to be completed, with Ghost Rider seemingly the leader of the last one. Early suggestions point to a Midnight Suns team-up, though time will surely tell.
