Jynxzi Faces Possible LoL Ban After Going 0/9/0 on Master Yi

Twitch streamer Nicholas ‘Jynxzi’ Stewart is continuing his quest to become a good League of Legends player, but might be getting a little too immersed.

The American content creator revealed that he received a message in the League of Legends client warning him to improve his behaviour or face a possible ban.

Following player reports and an automated review, the in-game message accused Jynxzi of intentionally trying to lose a match.

The match in question saw Jynxzi go 0/9/0 as Master Yi during a ranked match in Iron 3. This was his third consecutive defeat.

During the 30-minute match, Jynxzi only dealt 579 damage to champions, which is ludicrous considering his champion could likely deal more by just pressing Q once.

For comparison, his 1/17/5 Caitlyn in the same game still dealt just shy of 12k damage — meaning Jynxzi was almost certainly trolling.

Still, Jynxzi’s LoL mentor and fellow Twitch streamer, Dantes Forlini, told him not to worry about the message:

“In their first month of playing, most people receive that pop-up 10 times. You’ve only received it once.

“What would be the point of a journey to the top if it didn’t begin with a descent to the bottom? Run it up and queue again.”

Currently, Jynxzi has a 32% win rate with 20 games played and seven wins.

Jynxzi’s First Run-in With Riot

This isn’t the first time that Jynxzi has been in trouble with Riot Games.

Not long after he started playing LoL, his account was permanently banned as Jynxzi admitted to buying a levelled account so he could quickly start playing ranked.

However, after Jynxzi took responsibility during his stream, a Riot employee then quickly gifted the Streamer a Riot account.

This account was already level 30 and had the correct Iron MMR, the lowest in the game, so that Jynxzi didn’t ruin games of higher-ranked players.

How do you think the new player experience in LoL can be improved? Let us know on the Insider Gaming Discord.

There won’t be any major changes for a while as the upcoming LoL Patch 26.10 is a rather small update, judging by the preview.
