Is MindsEye Coming to Xbox Game Pass

MindsEye is edging ever closer to release, and, as is customary for any modern game, you might be wondering if it will be available on Xbox Game Pass. We have the answer.

MindsEye releases June 10 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, propelling players into a single-player thriller set in the near future, with early footage from the game resulting in Grand Theft Auto comparisons.

If you want the lowdown on whether MindsEye will be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, you’re in the right place.

No announcement has been made indicating MindsEye will be available to play as part of an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

For big titles like MindsEye, announcements regarding Xbox Game Pass inclusion are made well ahead of release as part of marketing for the service.

The lack of such an announcement indicates MindsEye will not be arriving on the service at launch, and with the release date around the corner, it’s highly unlikely this scenario will change.

A definitive answer to the question will likely come during Summer Games Fest, with the IO Interactive Showcase on June 6, followed by the Xbox Showcase on June 8.

If Game Pass inclusion isn’t mentioned in either of those showcases, it’s a guarantee MindsEye won’t be there at launch.

Will MindsEye Come to Xbox Game Pass?

Whether MindsEye is eventually added to the Xbox Game Pass service depends on a lot of factors, but so far, there’s no indication MindsEye will join the service in the near future.

Developer Build A Rocket Boy has no past releases that drop any sort of hint toward a relationship with Microsoft that could indicate a Game Pass release, so it’s impossible to offer a prediction on whether the game will feature on the service.

Publisher IO Interactive does have past history with the service, however, with all three games in the Hitman trilogy previously available in the Game Pass catalogue.

Hitman: World of Assassination, which puts all three Hitman games into one easy-to-access launcher, left the Game Pass service in January 2024 and has not returned.

It remains to be seen what happens with MindsEye, and while I can’t rule out a Game Pass addition in the future, don’t expect it to occur anytime soon.
