Microsoft already added a few Call of Duty games to Xbox Game Pass, but let’s take a look at whether there are any plans to do the same for CoD WWII.
After a year of legal battles, Microsoft officially purchased Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion in October 2023. Despite the deal, Microsoft agreed to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for the next 10 years. In saying that, it did pave the way for Microsoft to add Activision Blizzard titles to Xbox Game Pass.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was a day-one release for the subscription service. In addition, Modern Warfare 3, MW2, Black Ops 3, CoD Ghosts, and Advanced Warfare are also available. Fans assume that all classic titles will be added eventually, including CoD WWII.
Can You Play Call of Duty: WWII on Xbox Game Pass?

On June 30, Microsoft announced that Call of Duty: WWII is available on Xbox Game Pass.
Call of Duty: WWII is available for Xbox Game Pass Standard and Ultimate members. A standard membership costs $14.99 a month, while an Ultimate subscription is priced at $19.99 a month.
It’s important to note that not every CoD is available with the base Standard membership. Black Ops 6, for example, is only available for Ultimate members, and Black Ops 7 will most likely be available as a day-one title for Ultimate members only as well.

Does Call of Duty: WWII Support Crossplay
Call of Duty: WWII does not support cross-play between PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
CoD: WWII was released in 2017, and Activision didn’t introduce crossplay until Modern Warfare in 2019. This means that it won’t be possible to play with friends if they are on a different platform.
As a result, it might be challenging to find Multiplayer matches. Because even though there might be a surge in popularity for the first few days and weeks, it’s unlikely players will keep engaged with so many other CoD and FPS titles available.
That being said, you should take advantage of the popularity surge while you can.
