In the last year, Apple has been toying with increasingly ambitious games on iPhone and iPad devices. We’ve seen the likes of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Death Stranding, and Resident Evil Village make their way onto the latest Apple devices, and it has just been revealed at the company’s WWDC conference that loads of AAA titles are set to enter the line-up in the coming months.
Games, Games, Games
In an image being shared online captured during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, a lengthy line-up of games is shown, all of which are being introduced to the iPhone and iPad ecosystem soon. Here’s a snapshot list of what has been confirmed just moments ago:
- Dead Island 2
- Sniper Elite 4
- Wuthering Waves
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows
- Control
- Palworld
- Resident Evil 7
- Riven
- Prince of Persia: Lost Crown
- Valheim
- World of Warcraft: The War Within
- Frostpunk 2
- Resident Evil 2
- RoboCop
It’s widely expected that this is just the tip of the iceberg. As Apple’s technology becomes increasingly intelligent, the assumption is that the roster of top-tier titles launching on the iOS Store will skyrocket.
What’s most surprising is the likes of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, launching later this year and set to be one of the most highly anticipated titles in the franchise thus far. It hasn’t been confirmed if it’ll be available on day one on iPhone and iPad, but it’s highly possible.

Just what the apple cult needs, another reason to stare at a phone that would cover my mortgage for two months. Seriously, is anyone who plays these kind of games going to purchase them *solely* for iOS? Streaming on the phone for a quick solution is one thing but as the main attraction? Eesh. Good for them I guess.
