Call of Duty’s PPSh-41 goes back to the series’ roots. You can unlock the PPSh-41 to use in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone and it has characteristics guaranteed to make it one of the best meta weapons to use.
I have fond memories of eviscerating players once I unlocked the PPSh-41 in CoD: World at War. People always default to the MP-40, but adding a reticle to this rapid monster made it undefeated in my eyes. Call of Duty’s seasonal content years have seen the PPSh-41 regularly, and 2025’s Season 2 is the latest incarnation of the gun.

How To Unlock PPSh-41 for Warzone & Black Ops 6
The PPSh-41 is unlocked by reaching Page 6 of the Season 2 Battle Pass and choosing the HVT Tier Reward, waiting a bit longer and unlocking it through Page 14’s PPSh-41 Blueprint, or unlocking it immediately with a bundle.
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to acquiring the PPSh-41! If you don’t own any Battle Pass, you still unlock the PPSh-41 once you reach Page 6 of the Battle Pass and hit the HVT Tier.
If you favor the rest of the pass first as a Premium owner, you can opt for other rewards, and acquire it from Page 14 through its exclusive Blueprint.
Or, if you’re fine spending money, Activision usually releases a bunch of bundles on a season’s first day, allowing you to unlock new weapons instantly—removing the need for a grind. Black Ops 6 and Warzone are live-service titles at the end of the day, so your desire to get the PPSh-41 ultimately comes down to whether you want to part with real cash.

What Type of Gun is The PPSh-41?
The PPSh-41 is an SMG in Black Ops 6 and Warzone—AKA a Submachine Gun.
It’s described as a “Full-auto submachine gun. Fast fire rate with impressive damage and high recoil. Moderate handling.”
I’ve always enjoyed fast-firing weapons that can devastate at close range. Black Ops 6 and Warzone already have the Kompakt 92, but the PPSh-41 is almost assured to give it a run for its money.
