As you progress through the increasingly more potent difficulty levels in Helldivers 2, you’ll find that enemies start to become bigger and not just stronger. They have more armor, tower over the player, and strike with enough force to knock you out cold. You need a bigger weapon. Here is how to unlock and use the Anti-Material Rifle in Helldivers 2!
How to Unlock the Anti-Material Rifle in Helldivers 2
To unlock the Anti-Material Rifle in Helldivers 2, head over to the Ship Management computers on the left-hand side of the Destroyer. Access any computer, then navigate to the center tab, Stratagems.
It’s under the first category, Patriotic Administration Center, and is available for 5,000 Requisition Slips. You’ll earn Requisition Slips by completing missions planetside, like destroying Terminind Eggs or blowing up fuel dumps on Automaton-controlled planets. When you have enough, visit the terminal and press the interact button to purchase the Anti-Material Rifle.
Once you hit level 2 and spend the Requisition Slips, you can use the Anti-Material Rifle in-game by calling it down like any other Stratagem.

How to Use the Anti-Material Rifle in Helldivers 2
The Anti-Material Rifle is one of the more powerful weapons in the game, second only to the Railgun, and can take down some of the biggest enemies in a shot or two. It can even break the armor of Chargers.

I recommend calling in an Anti-Material Rifle the moment you touch down planetside, as it’s a valuable weapon to have on your back-sling for challenging encounters. You certainly want one went hunting Brood Commanders, which have durable armor. They’re slow, however, and make the perfect target for the Anti-Material Rifle.
While the rest of your squad forms a perimeter and holds back the weaker enemies, you carefully line up a shot and take down armored opponents. Just don’t waste the ammunition!
