You might think that Control Resonant is an all-out action game, but you’d be surprised to find that there are actually a ton of secrets and puzzles to solve in Remedy’s latest adventure, including the Soda Machine Puzzle.
Many of these puzzles are optional, but they’re usually well worth the effort, with Health Upgrades and interesting lore drops on offer. That said, they’re not always a walk in the park, so here’s how to solve the Soda Machine Puzzle in Control Resonant.
Where To Find Soda Machine Puzzle In Control Resonant
The Soda Machine puzzle in Control Resonant is located in the West Incursion Zone, inside one of the many enterable stores in the game.
Control Resonant allows you to enter a variety of buildings throughout Manhattan, including the likes of galleries, coffee shops and gyms. Most of them offer a small resource crate for you to break open, but a handful of others have a tricky puzzle hidden for you to solve.
These range from figuring out codes to interacting with in-world objects, and the answers aren’t immediately obvious in most cases. If you manage to solve them, you’ll uncover a Secret Hideout, along with some more in-game documents and a handy Health Upgrade. They’re worth solving, so here’s the solution for the Soda Machine Puzzle in Control Resonant.
Soda Machine Puzzle Solution In Control Resonant
To solve the Soda Machine puzzle in Control Resonant, you’ll need to input a four-digit code into a cash register.
Naturally, the code is linked to the nearby soda machine. When interacted with, it flashes four times, with each number of lights indicating a digit of the code. At first glance, this makes the code appear to be 3121.
However, it’s not quite that simple. A nearby note hints that the order needs to be reversed:
“The distributor says they’re reversing the drink order. Just an FYI.”
With that in mind, you’ll need to enter the code in reverse order. The correct code for the register is 1213. Once that’s done, a wall to the left will open, unveiling the Secret Hideout and a well-earned Health Upgrade.
