You might think that Control Resonant is an all-out action game, but you’d be surprised to find that there are actually a ton of secrets and puzzles to solve in Remedy’s latest adventure, including the Art Gallery Puzzle.
Many of these puzzles are optional, but they’re usually well worth the effort, with Health Upgrades and interesting lore drops on offer. That said, they’re not always a walk in the park, so here’s how to solve the Art Gallery Puzzle in Control Resonant.
Where To Find The Art Gallery Puzzle In Control Resonant
The Art Gallery puzzle in Control Resonant is located in the Evacuation Zone, inside one of the many enterable stores in the game.
Control Resonant allows you to enter a variety of buildings throughout Manhattan, including the likes of galleries, coffee shops and gyms. Most of them offer a small resource crate for you to break open, but a handful of others have a tricky puzzle hidden for you to solve.
These range from figuring out codes to interacting with in-world objects, and the answers aren’t immediately obvious in most cases. If you manage to solve them, you’ll uncover a Secret Hideout, along with some more in-game documents and a handy Health Upgrade. They’re worth solving, so here’s the solution for the Art Gallery Puzzle in Control Resonant.
Art Gallery Puzzle Solution In Control Resonant
To solve the Art Gallery puzzle in Control Resonant, you’ll need to identify the correct painting from each of the four sets.
The gallery features four walls, each displaying three paintings alongside a button. Pressing each button changes the lighting, with each press highlighting a different painting.
So, how do you figure out which paintings to select? A note on the nearby desk provides the clue, listing four words:
- Journey
- Windows
- Thunder
- Tides
The trick is to work through the paintings from left to right, figuring out which image from each set best represents the corresponding word. Some choices are more obvious than others, but once you know what to look for, the solution is:
- Second painting
- First painting
- First painting
- Second painting
Lighting up each of the four correct paintings will open a wall towards the back left of the room, unveiling the Secret Hideout and a well-earned Health Upgrade.
