Before Marathon launches worldwide, fans can jump into the Server Slam Playtest, a stress-test of sorts for the servers and free open beta ahead of its official release.
It’s a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the gameplay of Marathon and the world of Tau Ceti, but it’s not all for nothing. However, if you can’t tune in, then don’t fear, as Bungie are offering some Twitch Drops as another means to get some unique rewards.

All Marathon Server Slam Playtest Twitch Drop Rewards
There will be five rewards on offer through Twitch Drops during the Marathon Server Slam Playtest, requiring a maximum of four hours of watch time.
Most of the rewards are cosmetics, but there is a handy Sponsored Kit to help you get started when you load up Marathon for the first time. You’ll have until the Server Slam ends, on March 2, to rack up the watch hours, so don’t leave it too late!

How To Claim Marathon Server Slam Playtest Twitch Drops Rewards
Before you can earn any of the Marathon Server Slam Playtest Twitch Drops, you’ll need to connect your Bungie.net account to Twitch.
Make sure you get this sorted before you start binge-watching streams, as your watch time will only be counted when the connection is secured. Thankfully, it’s a simple process that won’t take too much time or effort to complete.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to connect your Bungie account with Twitch to claim the rewards:
- Create a Bungie.net account if you don’t have one already.
- On your Bungie.net account, navigate to ‘Settings,’ and then ‘Account Linking.’
- Link it to your Twitch account.
- Watch any Drops-enabled stream during the Server Slam Playtest for the required amount of time.
- Once you’ve fulfilled a Drops requirement, claim your rewards from the Twitch inventory.
