The Gilded Glory pre-order bonus rewards you with many freebies for Borderlands 4. Some are used now, and a couple are for later. First things first, you need to obtain them and get them in your inventory quicker than it takes Claptrap to speak a sentence.
Borderlands 4 has rewards and goodies for you before you even get stuck into the game! The ‘Hazard Pay’ Weapon Skin is the perfect example of this, and there’s also the Gilded Glory pack. If you pre-ordered the game or received a day-one physical purchase, you either automatically download the bonus content or redeem a code for the content.
Once the rewards are in the game, we need to be able to access and use them.
How To Get Borderlands 4 Gilded Glory Pre-Order Bonuses
You can claim your Borderlands 4 Gilded Glory pre-order bonuses by going to the in-game Inventory screen and pressing the highlighted Reward button.
Claiming the bonuses isn’t hard, but it’s knowing how to do so. You should be fine on your own now, but here’s a quick rundown of how to get your free goods:
- Wait until you have control of your main character for the first time in Borderlands 4.
- Open up the menu screen.
- Make sure you’re on the Equipment screen found under Inventory.
- Depending on your platform, press the Reward button you can see in the screenshot above—Triangle on PlayStation, for example.
- Collect your Gilded Glory pre-order bonuses.
- They go automatically into your inventory.

You get eight free items in Borderlands 4’s Gilded Glory pack, including Vault Hunter customizable parts, a weapon skin, a drone skin, and more.
Here’s the complete list of items that feature in the promotional pack:
- 1x ECHO-4 Drone Skin
- 1x Vault Hunter Head usable by all Vault Hunters
- 1x Vault Hunter Skin usable by all Vault Hunters
- 1x Weapon Skin
- 4x pieces of Legendary Gear:
- 1x Lvl 1 Legendary Maliwan SMG
- 1x Lvl 30 Legendary Ripper Grenade
- 1x Lvl 30 Legendary Torgue Ordnance
- 1x Max Lvl Legendary Daedalus Assault Rifle
Not all of the gear can be equipped straight away. However, getting a Level 1 Legendary off the bat is cool, and it’s not too OP as it quickly becomes outdated, underpowered, and underleveled as you find new and better gear.
