In a new Twitter post today, Guerilla officially revealed the full PC specs for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition.
This edition will launch on PC on March 21st, including both the base game and the Burning Shores DLC. PlayStation fans will also get some exclusives, such as the in-game Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike Piece. Players can pre-purchase the Complete Edition for bonuses.
Guerilla confirmed that the ideal SSD storage space across the board is 150GB, and 16GB of RAM for Memory.
For graphics, the studio recommends NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700. But on the high end, they also mention NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT.
Today’s PlayStation blog also mentions some of the adjustments that players can make in-game. This includes individual quality settings, and “sliders to adjust the field of view and visual effects”.
The Complete Edition will also have “toggles to adjust full screen effects like radial blur, lens flares, bloom and vignette”. These features should be flexible enough to help players find an optimal performance.
Employees at Horizon Call of the Mountain developer Firesprite recently accused the studio of a toxic work environment.
This followed PlayStation moving in, and leadership changes. But Sony’s internal investigation found that the employees’ claims were only a “misunderstanding”.
Last week, PlayStation announced it plans to lay off 900 employees, which would reportedly affect Firesprite.
Fortunately, it seems that the anticipated Horizon multiplayer game was not cancelled as a result of the layoffs. After a fan asked if it was cancelled on Twitter, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier said “No”.
However, PlayStation did not officially address the game’s status. It was first announced in 2022.
