It was revealed earlier today that Hi-Fi Rush will be released on PlayStation 5 on March 19, marking the first (potentially of many) Xbox-exclusive titles to be ported over to the platform. Following that revelation, it was highlighted by Bethesda that Hi-Fi Rush – which has been all-digital up until now – will be getting a physical release ‘at a later date’.
Physical While It’s Still Here
Recently, Phil Spencer appeared in an interview with Stephen Totilo, touching upon the topic of the future of physical games. He stressed that as long as consumers are opting for physical media, they’ll still churn out discs – but the landscape is fast becoming an all-digital one. It’s no big secret that a revolution is taking place.
On that note, it comes as no surprise then that Bethesda has revealed a physical release of Hi-Fi Rush on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, set to be released at some point. It’ll be supported by Limited Run Games, and while pre-orders aren’t yet open, the website is where Bethesda is directing gamers interested in a physical copy of Hi-Fi Rush.
