The Helldivers movie adaptation will reportedly be released on November 10, 2027, with more details revealed.
The Horizon Zero Dawn and Helldivers movies were announced back at CES 2025, and since then, we have received close to no new information. The director has spoken about their involvement in the movie and wanting A-listers to be ‘violently killed‘, but nothing else other than that. Now, we finally have a release date, a cast member, and a director.
Helldivers Movie Features Jason Momoa and Fast & Furious Director
A new report by Deadline reveals the release date for the Helldivers movie adaptation. Along with that, we were also informed that Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman, will be part of the film. Additionally, Fast and Furious director Justin Lin will be at the helm for the upcoming adaptation. The film is being produced by Hutch Parker, PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash, and Lin through Perfect Storm Entertainment.
The last movie that we received from PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures was the live-action adaptation of Uncharted, which featured Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. The movie grossed $407 million worldwide and became one of the top 10 highest-grossing video game adaptations. The duo has also worked on the Twisted Metal and The Last of Us series, and will join hands for adaptations of Horizon and God of War.
Talking about the God of War adaptation, it has secured actors for Atreus and Kratos. Additionally, here’s what you need to know about the Helldivers 2 Machinery of Oppression update.
