Kingdom Come Deliverance II has been on the market for almost three months, and fans are still neck-deep in pouring their affection across every ounce of the stellar open-world RPG.
One of the most heartwarming and beloved things to emerge from Kingdom Come is the concept of Hansry, the entertaining, wholesome bond between Luke Dale (Hans Capon) and Tom McKay (Henry of Skalitz). The pair have been front and centre in the community of late, giving back to the players with a chaotic tour and hefty helping of fan service.
The Dynamic Duo
To best represent the combination of Dale and McKay, I’ll use a recent edit uploaded to social media by user ‘owllamb’:
an edit no one asked for of my fav chaotic duo @LukeDaleLive and @thisistommckay enjoy! #hansry #lukedale #tommckay #hanscapon #henryofskalitz #KCD2 #KCD
Luke Dale and Tom McKay have set out on a tour of sorts, with the duo most recently embarking on a grand adventure to Canada to attend the Calgary Expo. Everywhere they go, McKay and Dale are met with an overwhelming reception, showcasing the power that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has over the wider gaming community.
Earlier this year, KCD 2 was released and received universal praise and critical acclaim. I have regarded it as my Game of the Year, and I can’t see anything else coming out that could top it (so far).
I also took the time to highlight how Luke Dale (Hans Capon) has been transformed into a superstar streamer thanks to the Kingdom Come community. In recent weeks, he has skyrocketed up the charts with some hugely entertaining streams and top video content uploaded online, including his travel vlogs with Tom McKay (Henry).
Dale and McKay have been in cohorts since development started on the first Kingdom Come title more than a decade ago, and the bond they share is as iconic in real life as it is in the game franchise, and I am truly here for every ounce of it.
