A new era in the Halo franchise has begun, kicking off with a revamped version of Master Chief’s original adventure, and a major discussion has emerged regarding physical discs of the game.
The world of gaming has evolved, and love it or hate it, the digital era has fully arrived, with physical discs set to be a thing of the past, which sparks questions about every new release and what physical versions will include, including Halo: Campaign Evolved.

Does Halo: Campaign Evolved Have a Physical Disc?
Yes, Halo: Campaign Evolved will ship with a physical disc with certain editions and pre-order types, and the offering is quite broad.
]While many companies have shifted to using a code-in-box format with physical editions, developers have confirmed this isn’t the case with Halo: Campaign Evolved, and a physical disc is included.
This is great news for those who prefer to have physical copies of their games, particularly amid major news that PlayStation is phasing out physical editions, while the next generation of XBOX looks likely to exclude a disc drive.
Of course, there are some limitations of the physical disc of Halo: Campaign Evolved, which will require you to download the full game to play once the disc is inserted, and not every pre-order will come with a physical disk.
What Versions of Halo: Campaign Evolved Have a Physical Disc?
Not every pre-order edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved will come with a physical disc, though the exceptions should be obvious.
Digital pre-orders for the Standard Edition and Premium Edition will not come with a physical disc, and everything included in both editions will be downloadable.
While the Standard Edition is also available in physical form, including a disc, the Premium Edition is digital only. Therefore, if you want a physical copy of the game but also have your eye on the Premium Edition benefits, you’ll have to purchase the Premium Edition upgrade separately.
A physical-exclusive version of Halo: Campaign Evolved is also available, the Collector’s Edition, which includes physical collectables and a physical disc. However, it has now sold out.
