In an all-new unveiling of an impressive and landmark Souls-like FPS, 4Divinity and Eschatology Entertainment have lifted the lid on Guns of Eschaton. It’s an innovative, intriguing shooter set in the apocalyptic world concocted by the late Viktor Antonov, who once worked on the likes of Half-Life 2 and Dishonored.
In the first trailer for Guns of Eschaton, we get an in-depth look at this mystical, powerful Western shooter that uses a unique blend of first-person action and Souls-like difficulty and strategy to present something that truly stands out from the crowd.
Guns of Eschaton Can Be Wishlisted Now
The Guns of Eschaton trailer reveals stacks of information about this sumptuous shooter, which already has me very excited for what’s to come. It’s the final game from Viktor Antonov, a legendary developer who sadly passed away last year.
In Guns of Eschaton, players contend with a vast journey across a dying America in a reimagined rendition of the Old West. The apocalypse has blanketed the landscape, and players are forced to battle a range of enemies, spanning minor mobs to hulking, horrific creatures.
Here’s the reveal trailer for Guns of Eschaton:
In a statement, Fuad Kuliev, the head of the studio at Eschatology Entertainment, said:
We are incredibly honoured to be revealing Guns of Eschaton, the final project shaped by the extraordinary vision of Viktor Antonov.
From the earliest stages of development, I had the privilege of shaping this world together with Viktor: where ideas, themes, and concepts evolved through his talent into the world players will see today.
Viktor’s imagination and creative legacy have been a constant source of inspiration throughout development, and this game is the result of an incredible collaborative effort from our entire team to bring that vision to life. We are proud to share it with players around the world in partnership with our publisher, 4Divinity.
This game will truly challenge players, bringing the multi-dimensional difficulty elements of a Souls-like game into a traditional, first-person environment. It looks as though the pairing will work well, encouraging players to use various weapons, powers, and abilities as they customize and grow their character either alone or with allies.
Guns of Eschaton doesn’t have a release date, but it can be wishlisted now on PlayStation 5, XBOX, and PC.
