UPDATE: Leaker CYBERLEEK has confirmed that the “8 PM ET on August 19” countdown warning was from a fake account.
In an X message on August 19, they said this: “The 8PM est wasn’t me. That was not me and it was a fake discord account.”
However, while there may not be an official countdown to the next leak, the leaker is continuing to drop new leaks from GTA 6, with indications that newer leaks could be from 2025 onwards, and more are likely coming.
A tumultuous 24 hours or so for Rockstar Games and GTA 6 is only going to get worse, as leaker CYBERLEEK has revealed that not only are new Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks coming, but also the time and date for them.
August 18, 2026, will go down as the other major GTA 6 data breach when, out of the blue, a series of videos and screenshots for GTA 6 hit the internet. Take-Two issuing DMCA takedown notices for the leaks pretty much confirmed that the alleged GTA 6 gameplay footage leaks were real.
The culprit is CYBERLEEK, and they have already threatened Rockstar and other major publishers with further action, and it seems they aren’t lying.
More GTA 6 Leaks Coming Through CYBERLEEK

The next GTA 6 leaks are reportedly set to arrive at 8 PM ET on August 19.
This information comes from their Discord server. This leak will consist of “2-4 More Leaks,” and it’s unclear if this is screenshots, more videos, or a mixture of the two.

Again, this is surreal timing, just days before the GTA 6 Netflix Showcase.
Interestingly, the reason they might be drip-fed is due to ‘being rate-limited.’
CYBERLEEK allegedly commented on a YouTube livestream, detailing the nature of the newest leaks, including Lucia riding an airboat around Leonida’s swamps, an alligator, “gun modding and trunk inventory,” and a 5-Star Wanted Level police response, complete with spike strips.
I guess everyone will have to tune in at 8 PM ET to see what CYBERLEEK has up its sleeve. Furthermore, is this going to be a daily occurrence?
If the leaker presumably has access to a ton of GTA 6 files and media, it’s not impossible that this becomes a daily event.
